ACLD Health Services
ACLD provides Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy, along with Social Work Services, through its Article 16 clinic
located in Bethpage. IPSIDD, Independent Practitioner Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities, a newer
program created in 2019, is an enhanced fee schedule for existing clinical services provided under the Medicaid State Plan.
Clinical services that can be funded through IPSIDD are Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech, Psychology and
Social Work. The services provided are not delivered as part of an individual’s residential and/or day habilitation plan. Clinical
services funded through IPSIDD can be delivered in IRAs, community residences, family care homes certified by OPWDD,
private residences, certified day habilitation programs and pre-vocational programs.
