Article 16 Intake Form
*NEW* Audiology Services
ACLD is expanding its Article 16 Clinical Services with the introduction of Audiology.
ACLD now provides Complete Audiologic Evaluations which include:
- Pure Tone Testing
- Speech Discrimination
- Impedance Measurements
- In-depth discussion of hearing loss and its affects
- Assessments to identify most functionally appropriate hearing aids/assistive listening devices
- Otoacoustic Emissions Measurements
- Sound Field Audiometry
ACLD’s trusted Audiology team specializes in identification and assessment of hearing disorders in the intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD) population. ACLD’s Audiologists and Hearing Aid Experts are certified members of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and are licensed with the New York State Audiologists and Hearing Aid Experts. ACLD’s Audiology services are provided at the Bethpage campus. Any adult with an I/DD diagnosis is eligible for an audiologic evaluation with an initial prescription.
