ACLD Hosts Philanthropy Network of New York’s Annual Day of Service August 22, 2024

Mitchell, a resident at our Oakdale home, spends his time in their backyard, planting flowers for his late mother. Up until recently, there was no garden space in the backyard, so Mitchell would plant plastic flowers around the trees. Not anymore! Thanks to the Philanthropy Network of New York and their 15 volunteers from various companies, the Oakdale home has 6 new flower beds for Mitchell and his friends to enjoy. Thank you so much PNNY and to your amazing volunteers! ❓Is your company looking to host a day of service? Visit acld.org/support-us/volunteer-opportunities/ for more information
