ACLD received approval from OPWDD to develop a state of the art home for eight adults with significant medical issues in Bethpage. The home will be on our Administrative campus, next to the Charles Evans Health Services Center, which is also in development. This home will be equipped with substantial medical and mobility equipment to allow us to provide the highest quality carefor individuals with significant medical conditions that otherwise would have required nursing home care. In the long term, this home will give us flexibility to continue to serve individuals as they age and develop more complex medical issues.
